About Dr. Roth
Dr. Rob Roth is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a focus on musculoskeletal pain, regenerative injection therapies, and integrative care. Formerly with Innovations Health Clinic, he now practices at Marda Loop Naturopathic and Wellness Clinic — in person on Mondays and virtually on Tuesdays for patients across Alberta. All appointments, in-person or virtual, are booked through the clinic.
His practice is built on careful diagnosis, clear explanations, and treatment plans you can actually live with — whether you're managing a stubborn joint injury, recovering from surgery, or rebuilding energy and resilience.
Services
Three focused services, designed to work together when needed.
Targeted regenerative injections to stimulate the body's natural repair process in ligaments, tendons, and joints. A leading option for chronic pain that hasn't responded to conventional care.
Customized intravenous nutrient therapy to support immune function, recovery, hydration, and energy. Formulations are tailored to your intake, labs, and goals.
Comprehensive intake covering history, lifestyle, and labs — with a clear plan for next steps. Available in-person on Mondays or online on Tuesdays.
Lab Testing
Functional and conventional lab testing to clarify what's actually driving your symptoms — chosen case by case, never shotgun-ordered.
Dried urine testing for sex and adrenal hormones plus their metabolites — a fuller picture than serum alone, useful for cycle, mood, sleep, and adrenal concerns.
PCR-based stool analysis covering pathogens, parasites, opportunistic flora, commensals, and digestive markers — for chronic GI symptoms or unexplained systemic complaints.
Targeted micronutrient panels — vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids — to identify deficiencies and guide focused, evidence-based supplementation.
Urinary neurotransmitter testing — serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and key metabolites — useful in workups for mood, anxiety, focus, and sleep.
SNP analysis (MTHFR, COMT, and related variants) to understand methylation capacity — useful for guiding B-vitamin support, neurotransmitter balance, and individualized detox strategies.
Targeted serology and PCR for tick-borne, viral, and other persistent infections that often slip past conventional panels.
IgG / IgA food panels to identify reactivity patterns — most useful when paired with structured elimination and reintroduction.
Heavy metals, mycotoxins, organic acids, and more by request. If there's a specific test you've been considering, ask.
Coverage varies by test and insurer. Dr. Roth will explain what each test costs, what it can (and can't) tell you, and whether it's worth ordering before you commit.
